Founded in 1901, The Wellesley News is a weekly newspaper run by the women journalists of Wellesley College. We have no faculty advisors or administrative liaisons. The News is issued every Wednesday of the academic year.

EDITORIALS are the opinion of The News Editorial Board. If unsigned, they represent the opinion of the majority of the staff. Views otherwise expressed in columns or articles are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the views of The News.

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR must be submitted by noon on the Sunday before publication. All letters should be addressed to the Editors, should be no more than 500 words in length and will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis. The News will not print letters that have previously appeared on open Google Groups, including Community.

ADVERTISEMENTS to be placed in The News must be received by noon on the Sunday before publication. Ads for on-campus organizations are free, but due to space constraints, no guarantee is made of their publication. Paid advertisers can contact The News for rates. We reserve the right to refuse to run any ad. Please contact managers at thewellesleynews@gmail.com.

CLASSIFIEDS are $2 for students, faculty and other members of the Wellesley College community. Payment is due at the time the classified ad is placed. Off-campus classifieds are $40 for the first 30 words, $ .50 a word over 30 words. We reserve the right to refuse to run any classified. Please contact managers at thewellesleynews@gmail.com.
